Andrew Johnson: Luxembourg was my second tour after Istanbul. Msgt Wihlms was the NCOIC at the time. We had great times with the Lux Army, and I was an Honorary Member of the International Police Association (Lux-Sud). I married Kerry Scheitel at the end of my tour.

The Marine Security Guard Detachment was often hosted by the Luxembourg Army at their training facilities. The Army was a Recon Company consisting of approximately 8 officers and 400 men. Many great memories of Major Pierre Bergem, his officers and men.
