1)   The Historical Committee of the Marine Embassy Guard Association exists to collect, record, preserve, exhibit, the cumulative operational experience and achievements of the Marine Embassy Guard Association Membership as Marine Guards with the Marine Security Guard Battalion.

2)  The Committee will also collect, record and exhibit any historically significant information pertaining to the Marine Security Guard Battalion and / or Dept of State which further highlights incidents involving MEGA members.
