It is such a sad moment in our history facing the loss of BigBob.  Having met him during the expansion of MEGA in 98 during his call for support  when I traveled to Quantico  to meet with a group of people I'd only known from the guestbook.  BigBob was larger than life, and it was sincerely a pleasure to jump in and do what I could to help his association grow.
At our reunions I looked forward to seeing him look out on what his efforts had achieved.  All of us owe so much to his foresight.  I remember stumbling onto the website in the early days and looking forward to my re-visits as more and more MSG's checked in.
The association took on a life of it's own, and over the past few years Bob simply stepped back and let us fly.  I am sure he saw us through our recent growing pains and was happy to see we were back in step.
I have to say my efforts in growing MEGA are in part due to his vision, and leadership in the early days, and I sincerely hope as he stands on the yellow footprints at the gates of heaven he is aware of the legacy he as left behind and that we will all march through hell to keep it alive.

Semper Fi Bob...
